How
do I enable the S-VA Softsynthesizer on a WF192XG?
The S-VA Softsynthesizer must be turned ON in the Control Panel,
and the computer should be using the DS-XG driver.
The steps to enable the S-VA Softsynthesizer are:
1) Click on Windows Start Menu and open the Control Panel.
2) Double click on the YAMAHA DSXG icon and click on the
''Synthesizer'' tab.
3) Click on the box labeled ''Sondius-XG (W)'' to turn
the S-VA Softsynthesizer ON (if the box is already checked do
not click on it). Click ''OK''.
4) Double click on the MULTIMEDIA icon in the Control Panel
directory and click on the ''MIDI'' tab.
5) Click on the DS-XG driver so that it is highlighted,
then click ''OK''.
6) Close the Control Panel window.
NOTE: The minimum CPU requirements to load and run the S-VA Softsynthesizer
are a Pentium II, 233MHz with MMX technology. The software will
automatically identify the CPU's capabilities. If the CPU does
not meet the minimum requirements, the Sondius-XG drivers required
to use the S-VA Softsynthesizer will not load.
